During a live talk with Anne Fadiman, author of The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down, on April 1, 2014 at Bowdoin, viewers participated by emailing in questions to the author. The talk was moderated by Susan Bell, Bowdoin’s A. Myrick Freeman Professor of Social Sciences and chair of the sociology and anthropology department, and Steven Loebs ’60, research associate at the Joseph McKeen Center for the Common Good and professor emeritus, College of Public Health, The Ohio State University.
